The Users section allows you to add, edit and remove users from Credit Hound. These users are global users and can access every company you have connected to Credit Hound.
How to get to Users
Users can be found under the Settings cog icon in the top-right hand corner of the screen. Click on the icon and when the menu appears click on Users.

Add a User
To add a user following these steps.
- Go to Settings > Users (see above).
- Click the Add Userbutton in the top-right corner. This opens the Add User screen.

- Select the appropriate Role
- Administrator
- Standard
- Configurator (see below for the differences between the user roles).
- Click the Add button.
- You will return back to the user list and a notification bar should appear stating the user has been created.
- The user will receive an email asking them to accept the invitation.
Edit a User
To edit a user follow these steps.
- Go to Settings > Users (see above).
- Select the user you want to edit from the list.

- You can change the Role of the user to either Administrator, Standard or Configurator.
- Once you are happy with your changes, click Save.
- You will return back to the user list and a notification bar should appear stating the user has been updated.
Change a User Role from the Users List
You can also change a user’s role directly from the Users list. This provides a quicker way to update user roles without opening the full Edit User screen.
- Go to Settings > Users
- Locate the user in the list
- In the Role column, click the dropdown
- Select the new role
The user’s role will be updated immediately.
Remove a User
To remove a user follow these steps.
- Go to Settings > Users (see above).
- From the user list, click on the user you want to remove.

- The Remove User confirmation dialog appears. Click Remove to permanently remove the user.

Difference Between User Roles
User roles control what each user can see and do within Credit Hound Cloud. Credit Hound Cloud provides different user roles depending on the level of access required.
Product Owner
- Full system access
- Can manage billing/subscription
- Can transfer ownership to another user
- Each subscription must always have exactly one Product Owner.

Administrator
- Full operational access
- Can manage users and system configuration (excluding billing)
- Can configure collection paths, email templates and company settings
Standard User
- Access to day-to-day activities
- Customers
- Tasks
- Email Chasing
- Cannot manage users or system configuration
Configurator
The Configurator role is designed for system setup and configuration. Configurators cannot access customer data or perform day-to-day credit control activities.
Licensing
- Configurators do not consume a user licence
