The Users section allows you to add, edit and remove users from Credit Hound. These users are global users and can access every company you have connected to Credit Hound.

Administrators Only!
You need to be an administrator to access Company Settings. If you are not an administrator then this option will not be available to you.

How to get to Users

Users can be found under the Settings cog icon in the top-right hand corner of the screen. Click on the icon and when the menu appears click on Users.

Difference Between User Roles

User roles control what each user can see and do within Credit Hound Cloud. Credit Hound Cloud provides different user roles depending on the level of access required.

Product Owner

  • Full system access
  • Can manage billing/subscription
  • Can transfer ownership to another user
  • Each subscription must always have exactly one Product Owner.

To learn more about transferring ownership, see Transfer Product Ownership.

Administrator

  • Full operational access
  • Can manage users and system configuration (excluding billing)
  • Can configure collection paths, email templates and company settings

Standard User

  • Access to day-to-day activities
    • Customers
    • Tasks
    • Email Chasing
  • Cannot manage users or system configuration

Configurator

The Configurator role is designed for system setup and configuration. Configurators cannot access customer data or perform day-to-day credit control activities.

Licensing

  • Configurators do not consume a user licence

Typical Use

Configurators are commonly used by:

  • Implementation consultants
  • Partners
