Formatting Options

The email editor has a number of formatting options. The table below describes each one.

OptionDescription
Inserts a custom field at the current location of the cursor. Custom fields include items such as the customers name, transaction references, the senders company and email address etc. Please see Email Custom Fields for more information.
Make selected or following text bold, or remove bold formatting if currently on
Make selected or following text italic, or remove italic formatting if currently on
Make selected or following text underline, or remove underline formatting if currently on
Make selected or following text strike-through, or remove strike-formatting if currently on
Make selected or following text subscript (small text appears slightly lower than the main text)
Make selected or following text superscript (small text appears slightly higher than the main text)
Set the font family of the selected or following text
Set the size of the font of the selected or following text
Set the text color of the selected or following text
Set the background color of the selected or following text
Change the inline style of the selected or following text to:
  • Big Red
  • Small Blue
Removes any formatting on the selected text
Align text to the left
Align text to the center
Align text to the right
Justify the text
Create a numbered, ordered list
Create a bulleted, unordered list
Change the format of the selected or following text to one of the following options:
  • Normal
  • Heading 1
  • Heading 2
  • Heading 3
  • Heading 4
  • Code
Change the format of the selected or following text to one of the following options:
  • Gray
  • Bordered
  • Spaced
  • Uppercase
Change the line height of the selected or following text to one of the following options:
  • Default
  • Single
  • 1.15
  • 1.5
  • Double
Decrease indent of the selected text
Increase indent of the selected text
Place the selected text in block quote
Insert a URL
Insert special characters
Insert a horizontal line
Undo the last change made
Redo the last change made
Start editing in fullscreen mode
Select all email content
Switch to the HTML Code editor. Enables viewing and editing of the HTML code behind your email content.
Attach a file to the email
