# What custom fields can I use in the Task Title and Details?

You can use the following Custom fields when you are creating a task in a Collection Path.

Custom Fields FormatAll custom fields start with **{{** and end with **}}**

| Custom Field Name | Description |
| --- | --- |
| {{customerRef}} | The customer reference field, if one exists. E.g. 'CAN001' |
| {{customerName}} | The name of the customer. E.g. 'Cannon Supplies Ltd' |
| {{contactName}} | The name of the contact at the customer. E.g. 'John Doe' |

Consider the following examples:

- Chase call for {{customerRef}} - {{customerName}}
  - Chase call for CAN001 - Cannon Supplies Ltd
- Follow-up with {{contactName}}
  - Follow-up with John Doe
- Follow-up with {{customerName}}
  - Follow-up with Cannon Supplies Ltd
